Description
The Communications Strategist for Power is responsible for enriching Burns & McDonnell communication strategies through creating, preserving and promoting our strong employee ownership culture. The Communications Strategist is a resource in all things related to enhancing internal communications, communication strategies and sharing information within Power and from Power to the company.
- Supports Power leadership communications, including global practice meetings.
- Manages the publication process of Power newsletter and all other internal Power publications, the Power intranet and Power enterprise social network platform.
- Manages change management communications.
- Writes, reviews and edits Power presentations.
- Monitors and verifies benchmarks during the production process for companywide announcements including celebratory and all other videos.
- Leads Power internal communications campaigns and manages digital signage requests.
- Partners with other departments, providing content and guidance for internal communication-related activities.
- Analyzes data of internal communication campaigns and provides feedback on suggested changes, areas for improvement and successes.
- Provide resources for internal communications and campaigns for Power needs.
- Leverage AI tools to streamline strategy and content creation, analyze metrics, and optimize internal messaging
- Champion integration of AI technologies to elevate internal communications
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or related degree.
- 4 years relevant experience required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Strong organization skills and the ability to efficiently prioritize workload.
- Proven leadership experience is preferred.
- Experience working with professional services industry is preferred.
- Expert creative or technical writing experience.
- Demonstrated ability to develop creative and innovative internal communications strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and provide excellent client service.
- Experience in AP Style preferred.
- Experience in planning, shooting and editing videos preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to clearly present complex information to a variety of media channels and range in audience.
