About The Role
The Content Marketing Manager owns the content engine across the buyer journey, translating complex technology, product capabilities, and customer problems into clear content that builds demand and supports revenue.
The role partners with product marketing, SEO, demand generation, sales, and subject-matter experts to plan and distribute content across the website, email, search, social, and sales channels. Success means stronger organic visibility, higher engagement, and measurable contribution to pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage an editorial calendar spanning blog posts, landing pages, customer stories, white papers, webinars, case studies, and sales enablement assets
- Write, edit, and commission technical content for audiences evaluating cloud platforms, SaaS products, data infrastructure, cybersecurity, or related technology solutions
- Develop SEO briefs and optimize content using tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, Semrush, and CMS platforms including WordPress or Webflow
- Partner with product marketing and subject-matter experts to turn technical concepts, product launches, and customer use cases into differentiated content
- Distribute content through email, LinkedIn, organic search, paid campaigns, and marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot or Marketo
- Measure content performance across traffic, rankings, engagement, MQLs, influenced pipeline, and conversion rates; use reporting to prioritize new and refreshed content
- Manage freelance writers, agencies, and production workflows while maintaining brand, editorial, and technical accuracy standards
What We Are Looking For
- 3-6 years of content marketing, editorial, SEO, or demand-generation experience, preferably in B2B technology or SaaS
- Demonstrated ability to create and manage content programs that improve organic traffic, engagement, lead generation, or pipeline contribution
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to make technical subjects clear, accurate, and compelling for both technical and business audiences
- Hands-on experience with CMS, marketing automation, analytics, and SEO tools such as WordPress, Webflow, HubSpot, Marketo, GA4, Ahrefs, or Semrush
- Experience building content strategies, editorial calendars, audience personas, keyword plans, and distribution programs across multiple channels
- Strong project-management and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to manage concurrent deadlines and navigate feedback from product, sales, and leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, or a related field; Bonus: experience with AI-assisted content workflows, developer or technical audiences, video and webinar production, paid content promotion, or account-based marketing
