About The Role
The role owns the content engine for a fast-growing technology company: building the strategy, producing the assets, and proving the impact of content on pipeline and brand.
You will translate technical products — APIs, cloud infrastructure, developer tools — into content that educates buyers and ranks in search, partnering with product marketing, sales, and engineering to ship work that moves real metrics.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the editorial calendar across blog, whitepapers, case studies, webinars, and email; ship consistently on deadline
- Lead SEO strategy end-to-end: keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO fixes with engineering, and SERP tracking via Semrush/Ahrefs and GA4
- Write and edit high-quality content for technical audiences, including how-to guides, product comparisons, and thought-leadership pieces
- Build content briefs for freelance writers, agencies, and internal SMEs; manage the review and publication workflow in CMS (WordPress, Webflow, or similar)
- Measure content performance against traffic, MQLs, and pipeline contribution; report monthly to marketing leadership with clear recommendations
- Repurpose long-form assets into multi-channel formats — social threads, nurture emails, video scripts, sales enablement one-pagers
- Manage the content budget and vendor relationships, prioritizing spend by performance data
What We Are Looking For
- 4-7 years of content marketing experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or developer-facing products
- Proven SEO track record: can show organic traffic and ranking growth you directly drove
- Strong writing portfolio with technical subject matter; comfortable interviewing engineers and translating their work
- Hands-on with GA4, Semrush or Ahrefs, HubSpot/Marketo, and a modern CMS
- Experience managing freelance writers and agencies, with sharp editing skills (AP or house style)
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or equivalent practical experience
- Bonus: experience with AI-assisted content workflows, developer relations content, or HTML/CSS basics for working directly in a CMS
