We are currently hiring a Communications Specialist to support one of our LARGEST and long-term partners within the Blue Cross Blue Shield space.
Summary: We are looking for a Communications Specialist to support the events and sponsorship team in annual conferences, townhalls, and daily communication initiatives. The hired employee will be responsible for copy writing, copy editing, and help draft talking points, leadership communications, newsletter content, and web content that are for internal employees, and external partners.
Location: Primarily remote, once a month onsite in either locations: Met Square DC, Merriweather, MD, or Reston, VA. Candidates MUST reside in DC, MD, VA areas.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in communications related role
- Experience writing talking points for leadership for conferences, creating newsletters, web content, and marketing materials/campaigns.
- Experience being involved in planning and coordinating events and sponsorship communications.
