BKCW Insurance is looking for a creative and results-driven Marketing Manager to join our winning team. This role is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and support client retention. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing, content creation, community engagement, and project management. Member can work in either our Killeen or Temple, TX office locations.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing:
- Manage and update the agency’s website and social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)
- Create and schedule engaging content including blogs, newsletters, and promotional posts
- Monitor and analyze digital campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and Meta Business Suite
Brand Development:
- Create marketing collateral to support department objectives
- Maintain consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels to drive business to the Agency
- Design marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, and email templates
Lead Generation & Client Engagement:
- Develop and implement lead generation campaigns (email, social media, local SEO)
- Coordinate client/carrier/vendor appreciation events and community outreach programs
- Assist with referral programs and customer loyalty initiatives
Collaboration & Support:
- Work closely with producers and customer service reps to align marketing with sales goals, assisting with their RFP and other sales generating documents
- Create templates for InsurLink and manage content sent through Client Circle and Zywave related to branding/advertising
- Host agency specific content to the website
- Support agency participation in local events, sponsorships, and networking opportunities
Project Coordination:
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor internal projects such as marketing campaigns, client onboarding processes, and client renewal processes
- Coordinate company events and timelines including annual carrier lake day event and benefits conference
- Develop and maintain project timelines, task lists, and status reports
- Facilitate communication between departments and ensure alignment of project goals
Communication & Reporting:
- Schedule and lead project meetings, prepare agendas, and track action items
- Provide regular updates to leadership on project progress, risks, outcomes, and return on investment
- Maintain organized records of project documentation and communications
- Manage and create monthly BKCW newsletter internally and external benefits communication outreach to clients
Vendor, Carrier & Partner Coordination:
- Liaise with external vendors, consultants, and technology providers
- Track deliverables, return on investment, and ensure third-party commitments are met on time
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1–3 years of marketing experience, preferably in insurance or financial services
- Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools
- Knowledge of insurance products and industry terminology preferred
- Experience with video editing or podcast production preferred
- Familiarity with CRM systems and email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
