This is a part-time, contract role with room to grow as projects scale.
The Role
You’ll support multiple Shopify web projects at once, helping keep timelines, communication, and deliverables organized. This role sits at the intersection of project coordination, Shopify admin support, and client communication.
You’ll work closely with our Creative Director and be present on client Zoom calls.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend weekly or bi-weekly client Zoom calls and take clear, organized notes
- Post meeting recaps, updates, and screenshots in Basecamp
- Keep project tasks, timelines, and files organized
- Draft and send organizational emails (logistics, follow-ups, asset requests)
- Support Shopify admin work including:
- Uploading products and content
- Creating collections
- Updating pages with provided copy and assets
- Light QA and flagging issues for review
- Coordinate assets and information between clients, designers, and developers
What We’re Looking For
- Strong organization and follow-through (you genuinely enjoy keeping things tidy and on track)
- Comfort working inside Shopify Admin
- Clear, professional written communication
- Experience supporting web or creative projects (agency experience is a plus)
- Calm, reliable presence on client calls
- US-based and able to overlap with CST working hours (10am–6pm CST)
Details
- Hours: 5–10 hours per week to start, with potential to grow to 10–15 hours as projects scale
- Pay: $25–35/hour depending on experience
- Location: Remote (US-based only)
- Type: 1099 contract
- Start: As soon as the right fit is found
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Prior experience working with Shopify agencies or studios
- Familiarity with Basecamp or similar project management tools like Asana, Monday.
- Interest in design, interiors, art, or architecture
