Role Overview
Cadre AI is hiring a Director of Marketing to build and lead the marketing function that establishes Cadre as the most trusted and recognized AI transformation services firm in the country.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where you'll own brand strategy, thought leadership, demand generation, and community, all while working directly with our executive team to shape how the market understands AI implementation.
You'll be responsible for building a premium brand that mid-market operators and enterprise leaders immediately recognize as the gold standard for AI integration. You'll drive both top-of-funnel awareness and qualified inbound pipeline through compelling content, strategic partnerships, high-impact events, and a world-class digital presence.

What You'll Own
1. Brand Strategy & Positioning
- Define and evolve Cadre's brand identity as the premium leader in AI transformation
- Own messaging frameworks across audiences and verticals (Private Equity, Lending, B2B Services, etc.)
- Position Cadre as the firm that actually delivers on AI transformation
2. Thought Leadership & Content Marketing
- Own end-to-end content strategy across LinkedIn, Instagram, newsletters, long-form content, and video
- Translate Cadre's frameworks, client wins, and executive insights into high-impact content
- Position Cadre executives as go-to voices in AI transformation
- Manage relationships with designers, videographers, and external creators
3. Public Relations & Media Strategy
- Own Cadre's PR strategy and media relationships
- Secure coverage, speaking opportunities, and thought leadership placements
4. Demand Generation & Inbound Marketing
- Build conversion funnels that turn awareness into qualified pipeline
- Develop high-value lead magnets (AI readiness playbooks, frameworks, executive guides)
- Own email marketing, nurture campaigns, and SEO strategy
- Drive measurable inbound leads and pipeline contribution
5. Events, Webinars & Experiences
- Plan and execute monthly AI webinars, executive roundtables, and industry events
- Manage end-to-end event execution: topic selection, promotion, creative assets, and ROI tracking
- Ensure events drive real business outcomes, not just attendance
6. SDx Brand & Marketing Leadership
- Cadre operates SDx, a premium community for AI Builders and Leaders. You will:
- Own brand marketing and community strategy for SDx, Cadre's premium AI community
- Lead sponsorship development and partner engagement
- Build SDx into a recognized brand that drives value for members and Cadre
7. Website & Digital Ecosystem
- Own Cadre's website and digital properties, including SDx site
- Lead website strategy, UX, messaging, and conversion optimization
- Maintain landing pages, case studies, and lead capture mechanisms
8. Sales Enablement & Go-To-Market Assets
- Own all marketing and sales collateral including capabilities deck, service decks, industry playbooks, and case studies
- Collaborate closely with sales and strategy leadership to align messaging and positioning
- Ensure all assets are brand-consistent, persuasive, and conversion-optimized
9. Executive Brand & Founder Support
- Support leadership team in building personal executive brands
- Develop content frameworks and manage ghostwriting for executive thought leadership
- Turn executive thinking into top-of-funnel content
10. Marketing Performance & Analytics
- Own marketing reporting across leads, pipeline, funnel conversion, social engagement, newsletter performance, events, and website performance
- Build dashboards and use data to refine strategy and drive continuous improvement
You'll Excel in This Role If You Have
- 7+ years in B2B marketing, brand marketing, or demand generation (professional services, consulting, or high-growth tech preferred)
- Proven ability to build or scale a brand to market leadership
- Strong strategic thinking paired with hands-on execution—you set the vision and do the work
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills for executive audiences
- Experience with marketing tech: HubSpot, Webflow, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, SEO tools
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage agencies and freelancers
- Entrepreneurial mindset—you thrive in ambiguity and move fast
- Fluency with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.)
- Compensation: The base pay range for this role is $90,000 – $115,000 per year.
