We are seeking a motivated
Digital Marketing Specialist with a strong interest in social media and paid digital advertising to support the execution of Element Biosciences’ digital marketing programs. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of experience who is eager to build hands-on expertise in managing social channels, executing paid campaigns, and analyzing performance, while gaining exposure to broader digital marketing initiatives. This role will work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and cross-functional partners to help drive awareness, engagement, and demand through organic and paid digital channels and will be an on-site San Diego based role

Essential Functions And Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day management of Element’s social media channels (e.g., LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Facebook), including content scheduling, publishing, and community monitoring
- Assist in the execution and optimization of paid digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, and other relevant channels
- Help develop social media calendars aligned with product launches, campaigns, and events
- Monitor performance of social and paid campaigns and report on key metrics (engagement, reach, CTR, conversions)
- Support A/B testing of ad creative, copy, and targeting to improve campaign performance
- Assist with website content updates and basic optimization to support campaigns
- Support email marketing and newsletter execution, including list coordination and performance tracking
- Contribute to SEO efforts, including keyword research and content optimization support
- Collaborate with designers and content partners to develop social and paid ad creative
- Assist with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, SFDC) for campaign tracking and reporting
- Stay current on digital marketing trends, platform updates, and best practices
Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, or paid advertising
- Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with social media platforms and paid ad managers (LinkedIn, Google, Meta, etc.)
- Basic understanding of digital analytics and performance reporting
- Experience with CMS, CRM, or marketing automation platforms is a plus
- Interest in B2B, life sciences, or technology marketing preferred
- Strong written communication skills with attention to tone and audience
- Analytical mindset and interest in performance-driven marketing
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative, proactive, and eager to learn
- Strong attention to detail and organization

Base Compensation Pay Range
In addition to base compensation noted above, you will be eligible for stock options, discretionary annual bonus, no cost health insurance plans, 401k with company match, and flexible paid time off.
