This role supports the weekly production and distribution of Summit Life radio and podcast content while coordinating related email, promotional, and station communications. It blends technical editing, organization, and marketing support requiring strong writing skills, attention to detail, and comfort working on a small, collaborative team.
Qualifications And Requirements
- Strong written communication skills
- Attention to specific details in terms of timing, pacing, and intuition for radio scripting
- Creative and willing to learn and use AI
- Not afraid to ask questions
- Able to learn new software like Google Drive, MailChimp, GoFundMePro, and Salesforce.
- Equipped to comfortably answer listener questions via email and phone.
- Able to affirm the Baptist Faith and Message (2000)
- Committed member of a like-minded church
Qualifications
Responsibilities
- Create the template and scripts each week for Summit Life radio and Summit Life podcast.
- Manage the delivery and posting of radio broadcasts and podcasts weekly via FTP and jdgreear.com
- Assist in MailChimp with the daily devotional delivery, the weekly newsletter, and other tasks as assigned by the marketing director.
- Organize and edit the monthly radio promotions, station email, and radio-related social media quotes. Execute sending to stations via mailchimp and managing station contacts in MailChimp.
- Assist donors and customers through responsive email communication, shared phone support as needed on a small team, personalized written correspondence, and consistent follow-up across multiple channels.
