Position OverviewThe Operations Support Specialist will provide direct support to MPW’s Operations Manager and the MPW team, helping with administrative coordination, marketing execution, client support, and research tasks as needed.
This is a part-time, salaried, hybrid role averaging approximately 20 hours per week. Collaboration typically occurs weekly, with flexibility depending on workload, efficiency, and company priorities. Occasional client-facing support may be required, though much of the work will take place behind the scenes.
This role has room to grow over time as MPW continues to expand.
Responsibilities- Provide administrative support, including scheduling, coordination, and follow-up
- Assist with marketing execution through Zoho, social media management, events, conferences, website design, and content support
- Support newsletter and webinar preparation, including logistics, formatting, and communications
- Help create and refine presentations, client materials, and internal documents
- Conduct prospect research and event preparation support as needed
- Maintain organized systems for files, client materials, and project workflows
- Assist with special projects and firm-wide support tasks depending on priorities
Requirements- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through
- Comfortable working across technology platforms (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Slack, Zoho, and other client-preferred systems)
- Proficient writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and adapt in a dynamic environment
- Familiarity with fundraising, prospect research, and nonprofit work is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
