Position Summary
A leading digital entertainment publisher is seeking an Audience Development Coordinator to support audience acquisition and retention across digital and social platforms. This role focuses on growing app installs, newsletter subscriptions, and overall engagement through paid media campaigns, email marketing, and push notifications.
The ideal candidate is both analytical and creative — comfortable developing compelling marketing assets and copy while using performance data to inform optimization strategies. This individual thrives in a fast-paced, test-and-learn environment and enjoys collaborating cross-functionally with editorial, commerce, and marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities
Send newsletters and push notifications, partnering with editorial and commerce teams to align on priorities and content calendar planning
Create digital marketing assets and ad creative using tools such as Canva, Figma, or Photoshop
Launch, manage, and optimize paid media campaigns to drive app downloads and subscription signups, improving ROAS through audience and creative testing
Assist in programming commerce and news landing pages to maximize SEO visibility, engagement, and alignment with marketing priorities
Monitor performance metrics and leverage analytics insights to optimize campaigns and content strategy
Process paid media and vendor invoices, tracking status and flagging discrepancies as needed
Manage multiple concurrent projects and testing plans with strong attention to detail
Stay current on emerging platforms, digital trends, and audience growth opportunities; propose innovative strategies to expand reach and revenue
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Digital Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field; or equivalent experience
1+ year of experience in digital publishing, email marketing, CRM, performance marketing, or a similar field
Experience developing digital content and/or paid media strategies for a digital publisher preferred
Familiarity with analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics
Strong project management skills with exceptional attention to detail
Experience designing marketing assets using Canva, Figma, or Photoshop
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make performance-driven decisions
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a test-and-learn approach
Entrepreneurial spirit with a collaborative mindset and eagerness to grow within a nimble team
