We are seeking a full-time Communications Intern to join our team this summer! This role offers hands-on experience across content creation, internal and external communications, and basic graphic design while working alongside an energetic team of professionals. What You’ll Be Doing
- Support internal and external communications, including email communications, website and newsletter content, social media posts, and digital and printed materials.
- Draft, edit, and proofread written content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with brand standards.
- Assist with graphic design needs using tools such as Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite (i.e., social graphics, flyers, presentations, simple layouts, etc.).
- Assist with social media content creation, scheduling, and monitoring.
- Support event-related communications, including promotional materials, signage, and on-site support as needed.
- Conduct research and assist with content planning and idea generation.
Who You Are
- Student enrolled in an undergraduate degree program. Communications, PR, marketing, journalism, graphic design, or a related field preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Creative, organized, and eager to learn.
- Comfortable balancing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
- Interest in communications, public relations, marketing, or advocacy.
