WHO WE ARE:
THINQ Media equips front-line thought leaders to create conversations that lead those they influence to wisdom. Today, we accomplish this mission through digital media and curated live events designed to connect, educate and inspire Christian leaders from every channel of culture. Founded by Gabe & Rebekah Lyons in 2003, the organization is on pace for its goal of equipping 1 million thought leaders to influence 100 million people by 2033 (half of which are under the age of 30.)
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Alongside the Marketing Team: (Overview of Team Work)
- Develop overall content strategy and marketplace positioning
- Plan, manage and coordinate the seasonal and monthly content calendars across our channels via an engaging and timely narrative that flows smoothly and brings to life our evolving offering.
- Brainstorm ideas for new content series.
- Curate & identify stories worth telling.
- Consistently use metrics to validate creative decisions, brand partnerships and drive engagement.
- Work closely with our marketing team to bring content to life and promote via our communication and distribution channels.
Own as the Content Manager:
- You'll write compelling content and stories, while overseeing, editing, and developing copy for our site, newsletter, marketing concepts, and event collateral.
- Ensure a uniform and inspiring experience across all channels through a unique and compelling voice.
- Serve as the editorial gatekeeper for all outbound content to ensure quality, clarity, creativity, authenticity, and consistency.
- Ensure proper marketing strategies are properly included in all content.
WHO YOU ARE:
- You have prior and proven experience curating and editing compelling and relevant content that gets attention and produces results for an established brand, editorial publication, or non-profit.
- You have prior and proven experience curating and editing compelling and relevant content that gets attention and produces results for an established brand, editorial publication, or non-profit.
- Strong intuitive writer, with high attention to detail and capable of creating interesting headlines and captivating copy. Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a creative environment and engage a multitude of issues with care and discipline.
- A theological and philosophical viewpoint that aligns closely with our mission to equip and educate leaders on navigating current culture with a commitment to biblical orthodoxy.
- Self-starter and proactive problem solver, who must be able to work independently, recognize potential needs, act on them before they arise, and deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and capable of editing the work of others.
- Personal thriving and evident relationship with Jesus Christ.
