RPStaffing is conducting an immediate search for the Coordinator of Chapters with a major trade association based in Washington, D.C. This is a highly interactive position for someone who enjoys working on a wide variety of daily tasks.

Status: Temp-to-Permanent
Hours:Full-time, M-F
Hybrid Status: Three days remote/ two days in the office (Tuesday and Wednesday)
Office Location: Washington, DC
Hourly Pay During Temporary Period: $20.00
Annual Salary When Permanent: $52,000 – $62,000 plus exceptional comprehensive benefits package
JOB SUMMARY
The Coordinator of Chapters is responsible for providing day-to-day support to 60+ local chapters that represent over 48,000 in-house counsel worldwide.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Tracks key chapter activities including leadership updates, educational programs, social events, board of directors’ meetings, chapter visits, resources and other program segments as requested. Provides reports as requested.
- Serves as an initial point of contact for chapter leaders and administrators through maintenance of the chapters inbox and responding to chapter phone calls, emails, and other digital media inquiries
- Assists with updating chapter websites; including updating leadership and event information, uploading program materials, etc. Works with chapters to improve content.
- Manages and coordinates the bi-weekly volunteer leader newsletter and chapter administrator announcements.
- Oversees maintenance of chapter broadcast email lists, listservs, and online discussion forums.
- Supports the chapter team with meeting preparation for chapter leadership training (twice per year) and annual chapter administrator training.
- Creating member surveys, providing customized reports, and fulfilling other requests for information.
- Assists in conducting orientation training for new chapter administrators on the use of website, as well as ongoing training for administrators and chapter leaders on various technology offered
- Moderate discussions/ present resources for chapter leaders and administrators for training sessions.
- Manages and coordinates chapter newsletter, including collecting copy from chapters and in-house copy, editing copy, working with layout designer to create newsletter, reviewing proofs, and final distribution to chapters.
- Identifies new ways to enhance ability to support chapter leaders and administrators.
EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 1+ years of experience working with volunteers in an association or other environment is preferred.
