Role Overview
We’re hiring a Marketing Coordinator/Associate to help power a fast-moving, multi-channel marketing function. You’ll work directly with the VP of Marketing on everything from research report launches and webinars to newsletters, social content, sales enablement, and brand campaigns. This is a high-visibility, builder’s role — ideal for someone with pharma media or pharma agency chops who wants to operate across content, events, demand gen, and brand.
You’ll see how a B2B pharma media company runs its marketing engine end-to-end, and you’ll have your hands on real work from day one.
Key Responsibilities
• Project-manage marketing campaigns across content, email, social, webinars, and events — keeping multiple workstreams on schedule and on brand
• Draft and edit marketing copy for LinkedIn, email outreach, sales enablement decks, landing pages, and newsletter franchises (The Pop, Q&A with Ray)
• Support the launch and ongoing promotion of our flagship research program, Virtual Care in America: The Populus Report, including webinars, PR, partner amplification, and audience development
• Coordinate with external partners — agencies, media partners, panelists, freelance creatives, and trade press
• Maintain the editorial calendar and traffic content through review, approval, and publication
• Working with Publicity, build and manage award submissions across pharma and media industry programs
• Coordinate and attend tradeshows, managing booth logistics, setup and schedules for attendance
• Attend and work at Populus sponsored industry events
• Develop and maintain the company’s premium program, including sourcing and design for all Populus branded client gifting assets
• Help maintain the website (Newsroom, campaign pages, etc.)
• Assist with sales enablement: one-sheets, decks, case studies, and event materials
• Other duties may be required as business needs evolve.
Qualifications
• 1–3 years of marketing experience, ideally at a pharma manufacturer, pharma marketing agency, healthcare communications agency, or a healthcare/life sciences brand
• Strong writer with a sharp ear for B2B voice — comfortable drafting LinkedIn copy, email subject lines, and sales-facing language
• Highly organized; you can run a project tracker, hit deadlines, and keep stakeholders informed without being asked twice
• Comfort with marketing tools — LinkedIn Campaign Manager, HubSpot or similar marketing automation, basic CMS work, light Canva/PowerPoint design
• A self-starter who likes ambiguity and doesn’t need a fully built playbook to make things happen
• Curiosity about pharmaceutical marketing, healthcare media, and how virtual care is reshaping the industry
• Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Skills (Not Required)
• Familiarity with pharma regulatory/MLR processes
• Experience with industry events (POCMA, PM360 events, Reuters Pharma, etc.)
• Video production coordination experience
• Basic data viz / analytics fluency
