About The Role
The role owns the content engine: strategy, production, and distribution of blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and SEO-driven landing pages that feed directly into demand generation and pipeline goals for a developer-focused technology platform.
This is a hands-on editorial and strategy seat. The team ships content weekly, and the role is measured on organic traffic growth, content-attributed pipeline, and how effectively technical and non-technical audiences convert after reading.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the editorial calendar across blog, resource center, and email nurture content — planning, briefing, and shipping on schedule
- Develop SEO strategy in partnership with the growth team: keyword research, content briefs, on-page optimization, and internal linking in tools like Ahrefs and Search Console
- Write and edit long-form assets including technical whitepapers, product pages, case studies, and executive thought leadership
- Manage freelance writers and agencies — brief, edit, and QA content against brand voice and technical accuracy standards
- Repurpose gated and ungated content across channels: LinkedIn, email campaigns, webinars, and sales enablement decks
- Build reporting on organic traffic, rankings, engagement, and content-sourced pipeline; use it to double down on what works
- Interview engineers, PMs, and customers to source original insights and translate complex technical topics for buyer audiences
What We Are Looking For
- 4-7 years of content marketing experience, ideally at a B2B SaaS, cloud, or developer-tools company
- Portfolio of published work — long-form articles, case studies, or whitepapers you wrote or edited
- Working knowledge of SEO: keyword research, technical SEO basics, and SERP-driven content strategy
- Hands-on with a CMS (Webflow, WordPress, Contentful) and analytics tools (GA4, Amplitude)
- Ability to interview technical SMEs and translate engineering concepts into clear, credible marketing copy
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, English, or equivalent practical experience
- Bonus: familiarity with developer audiences, experience with HubSpot/Marketo, or basic HTML and prompt-engineering skills for AI-assisted content workflows
