About The Role
The Content Marketing Manager owns the editorial engine for a fast-growing B2B SaaS company — producing the blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, and SEO-driven content that fuel demand generation and establish category authority in a technical domain.
The role sits at the intersection of marketing, product, and sales: translating complex technical concepts into content that ranks, converts, and shortens sales cycles. Success is measured in organic traffic, MQLs sourced, and content-influenced pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the content strategy and editorial calendar across blog, ebooks, webinars, and video aligned to funnel stages and ICP
- Write and edit long-form content — technical blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and landing pages — in partnership with product and SMEs
- Drive SEO performance through keyword research, on-page optimization, and technical SEO collaboration (using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, and GA4)
- Build a content distribution system across LinkedIn, email nurture, and paid amplification to maximize reach per asset
- Interview customers, sales, and engineering to develop case studies and proof points that support pipeline and enablement
- Define and report content KPIs — organic sessions, rankings, MQLs, and content-attributed pipeline — to leadership monthly
- Manage freelance writers, agencies, and a content budget to scale output without sacrificing quality
What We Are Looking For
- 3-6 years of content marketing experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or technical products
- Proven portfolio of long-form content that demonstrates strong writing and the ability to simplify complex technical topics
- Hands-on SEO expertise: keyword research, on-page optimization, and search analytics (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, GA4)
- Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow) and marketing automation (HubSpot or Marketo)
- Comfortable working directly with engineers and product managers to extract and shape technical narratives
- Data-driven editorial judgment: able to tie content decisions to traffic, conversion, and pipeline metrics
- Bonus: experience with AI writing/SEO tooling, video or podcast production, and a background or genuine interest in the company's technical domain
