We are currently seeking a Program Associate to join our passionate and collaborative team. This position will play a critical role in supporting the Foundation’s visibility and operations, with primary responsibilities in social media, marketing, and communications. Additional duties include supporting the Executive Director with newsletter creation, website management, and maintaining data accuracy and integrity.

As Program Associate, you will help elevate the Foundation’s brand and presence, contribute to a positive and productive workplace culture, and support the implementation of initiatives that align with our mission to expand our philanthropic reach and impact.
Essential Job Functions
- Board Communications – Compiles and distributes a monthly newsletter for the Board of Trustees, including timely updates and organizational highlights. Prepares concise Foxwynd News Briefs to keep board members informed between meetings.
- Financial Follow-Up – Collaborates with relevant departments to identify and resolve issues related to lost or uncashed checks.
- Data Management and Integrity – Maintains accurate and up-to-date records in both the Grant Pipeline and Foundant Technologies systems. Ensures consistency and data integrity across platforms.
- Ad Hoc Reporting and List Preparation – Responds to data and reporting needs as they arise, including preparing address labels for holiday cards, event name tags, and other special mailings.
- Annual Report Support – Gathers and prepares key data and performance metrics to support the development of the Foundation’s annual report.
- Digital and Social Media Management – Manages the Foundation’s social media presence across platforms such as Facebook and LinkedIn. Monitors the inbox and responds in a timely manner, engages with followers, and posts daily content that reflects current events and societal relevance while maintaining alignment with the Foundation’s voice and mission.
- Website Maintenance – Oversees updates to the Foundation’s website, ensuring all content remains accurate, current, and reflective of ongoing initiatives and events. Ensures all press releases are published on the “News” page.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in office management or administrative support, preferably in a nonprofit or philanthropic setting.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel).
- Proficiency in G-Suite (Sheets, Docs, Forms).
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills, analytical abilities, and technical competence.
- Demonstrates high integrity and a commitment to the mission of the Foundation.
Typical Work Conditions
- Work is performed in a remote environment with occasional in-person meetings.
- Use of personal devices (cell phone, personal computer, etc.) may be necessary on occasion to maintain business operations.
Typical Physical Demands
- Regular use of hands to manipulate office tools and equipment, phones and computer keyboard.
- May lift and move office supplies up to 20 pounds.
- May stand, reach with hands and arms, stoop, and squat to file.
