About the Role
Title: Digital Marketing Specialist
Reports to: Digital Operations Manager
The Digital Marketing Specialist for hyperscope media is a digital marketing professional who thrives at the intersection of content, analytics and execution. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys building and optimizing paid media campaigns, digging into performance data, and continually improving results through data-driven execution.
You’ll manage cross-channel advertising campaigns and lead email marketing initiatives that engage our audiences, support our advertising partners and drive measurable growth across hyperscope’s brands. From fine-tuning digital campaigns that deliver real results to building newsletters that inform and entertain, you’ll play a key role in advancing hyperscope’s digital marketing operations.
Ideal candidates bring both an analytical and creative mindset — someone who loves testing, learning and refining based on data trends, but also doesn’t shy away from crafting engaging ad, newsletter or
social media copy. The position is based in Chicago and requires the willingness to travel as needed to attend trade shows and support product and content development.

· Ongoing coordination with the sales team and clients to support new program development and onboarding, including selecting and developing campaign assets (copy, creative, etc.) from new and existing client content.
· Support sales with campaign performance insights, recommending content and developing assets for ongoing client campaigns, advertiser program scoping, and ad-hoc reporting.
· Work closely with the internal team to proactively identify opportunities for innovation and incremental business growth.

You’ll oversee hyperscope’s owned email channels — building and deploying emails, managing subscribers, and tracking performance to continually enhance engagement and deliver results.
· Curate, build and deploy weekly editorial eNewsletters and client-sponsored email sends using HTML and drag-and-drop builders (SendGrid, HubSpot, etc.).
· Manage subscriber databases — performing list cleaning, segmentation and suppression to maintain a high-quality, engaged audience.
· Ensure quality control and compliance across all email campaigns, including proofreading, testing across devices/clients, and adhering to CAN-SPAM and other regulatory standards.
· Collaborate with the internal team to align on advertiser placements, deployment dates and reporting.
