Role Overview
The Executive Assistant to the CIO provides high-level administrative and organizational support to the CIO and her direct reports. This role is critical to enabling executive effectiveness, supporting governance activities, and ensuring seamless coordination across the CIO organization and broader leadership team.
The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, discreet, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced executive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Executive & Leadership Support
- Act as an operational partner to the CIO, optimizing time, focus, and decision-making through proactive prioritization, calendar management, and AI-enabled workflows
- Manage complex calendars with an emphasis on outcome-based scheduling, balancing business priorities, leadership availability, and executive energy
- Anticipate executive needs by monitoring upcoming commitments, organizational rhythms, and leadership priorities
- Prepare, refine, and organize executive materials, presentations, and briefing documents
- Track action items, commitments, and follow-ups across meetings using modern tools and automation to ensure accountability and forward progress
- Serve as a strategic gatekeeper, assessing requests, flagging tradeoffs, and protecting executive focus
- Partner cross-functionally (People, Finance, Legal, IT and vertical business units) to move executive priorities forward efficiently and without friction
- Support onboarding and integration of new leaders within the CIO organization
- Continuously identify opportunities to streamline executive workflows, reduce noise, and improve operating cadence through improved systems, tooling, and process
- Provide flexible, high-impact support for time-sensitive initiatives and evolving leadership needs
- Prepare OKR scoring template each quarter and follow up with department leaders for score updates
- Submit expenses for the CIO and the CIO Leadership team
Calendar, Meetings & Communication
- Manage complex calendars and meeting schedules for the CIO and directs
- Coordinate internal and external meetings across time zones
- Prepare meeting materials, agendas, and follow-ups
- Serve as a liaison between CIO leadership and internal stakeholders
- Prepare, attend and manage logistics for CIO org town halls, onsite meetings, offsite activities and any internal team logistical needs.
- Collect content contributions from different leaders across the organization each month and assemble the CIO Org Newsletter for publication by the CIO.
Onsite Executive Support
- Provide in-office support when the CIO is onsite in Denver and when requested by direct reports local to Denver
- Support visiting executives and leadership meetings as required
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience supporting senior executives (VP+ or C-level preferred)
- Proven ability to manage complex schedules and competing priorities
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- High degree of professionalism and discretion
- Strong judgment and ability to work independently
- Experience supporting board-level or executive governance activities preferred
Where: Denver, Colorado (Hybrid)
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones.
This role is based in Denver, Colorado – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation
The target compensation range for this position is
$65,000 – $80,000 USD in most U.S. locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including location, local market variance, and candidate experience and expertise.
