Job Summary:
The Senior Communications Specialist plays a critical role on the Global Communications team, bringing enterprise priorities to life through clear, engaging internal communications. This role partners closely with leaders and subject matter experts to translate enterprise priorities into messages employees understand and act on.
This position is well suited for an experienced internal communications professional who brings strong writing and execution skills and can partner effectively with leaders and subject matter experts to deliver high-quality communications at scale.
Global Internal Communications Support
- Support the development and execution of global internal communications strategies aligned to the company’s growth agenda and other strategic initiatives.
- Support internal storytelling across global employee channels, including the company intranet, manager newsletter, and enterprise communications platforms.
- Develop and tailor communications for diverse global employee audiences, including frontline and office-based populations.
- Translate complex business, HR, and operational information into clear, relevant, employee-focused messaging.
Content Development and Delivery
- Create, edit, and deliver written, audio, and video content that drives employee engagement and supports business outcomes.
- Draft and edit leadership and executive communications, including enterprise emails, manager communications, leadership talking points, FAQs, and cascade materials for global use.
- Support internal communications related to company purpose, values, and employee experience.
- Ensure communications are approved and delivered on time and assessed with clear metrics.
- Generate fun, creative new ideas to enhance engagement for both the corporate and global employee populations.
- Demonstrates a continuous improvement mindset informed by insight, feedback, and curiosity.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Partnership
- Partner closely with Global Communications colleagues, senior leaders, and subject matter experts to shape clear, aligned messaging.
- Provide thoughtful communications guidance and support to global stakeholders while maintaining enterprise consistency.
- Help ensure consistency in messaging, voice, and visual identity in alignment with brand standards.
- Contribute to seamless execution in a lean, highly collaborative team environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communication, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years related work experience.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong core communications skills — writing, editing, speaking, planning, and strategy.
- Ability to write for a variety of audiences across multiple communication channels/formats/vehicles (print, online, broadcast, social, infographics, surveys).
- Strong judgment and ability to prioritize in a fast-moving, high-visibility environment.
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence without direct authority.
- Experience supporting leadership or executive communications.
- Comfort handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
- Experience using communications measurement and analytics tools to assess effectiveness.
- Proficiency with modern communications tools and platforms, including design tools such as Canva.
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
