As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dependable and growth-oriented Front Office & Intake Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for our clients and referral partners.
Position Overview
This is a full-time hybrid Front Office & Intake Specialist role based in Peachtree Corners, GA, with some flexibility to work from home. The role involves managing front-office responsibilities, including answering phone calls, greeting clients, and scheduling appointments. Additionally, the Front Office & Intake Specialist will provide exceptional customer service, handle initial client intakes, and support the practice's administrative functions.
This role is ideal for someone with healthcare front desk experience who is seeking long-term growth within a behavioral health practice.
Key Responsibilities
Intake & Client Coordination
- Respond to new client inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms
- Schedule intake appointments and verify basic insurance benefits
- Track referral sources and intake activity
- Ensure client profiles and intake paperwork are completed accurately
Front Office Management
- Answer and manage incoming phone calls
- Monitor shared email inboxes
- Greet clients during in-office days
- Check and manage the mailbox
- Maintain an organized and professional front desk environment
Client Communication & Support
- Assist clients with scheduling questions and documentation needs
- Support completion of payment profiles and required forms
- Coordinate with clinical and billing teams as needed
Marketing & Engagement Support
- Post approved content on social media platforms
- Assist with group and workshop promotions
- Support monthly newsletter distribution
Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of front desk experience
- Healthcare or medical office experience preferred
- Strong customer service and phone communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Behavioral health or mental health office experience
- Experience with EHR systems
- Basic understanding of insurance verification processes
- Familiarity with professional social media platforms
- Bilingual English and Spanish strongly preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- $18–$20 per hour, depending on experience
- Full-time (40 hours per week)
- 40 hours of Paid Time Off annually (10 hours accrued per quarter)
- 40 hours of Sick Leave annually (10 hours accrued per quarter)
