We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented
Part-Time Creative Marketing Assistant to join our team, an established Japanese-owned company in the automotive tool manufacturing industry. This is an ongoing temporary position requiring approximately 20 hours per week (based on project needs and load).
This is a foundational role, serving as the company's first marketing hire. The successful candidate will be responsible for spearheading and executing all marketing and content strategies. This is a hybrid role, beginning with necessary time in our Cool Springs office for training and collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and manage the company's entire digital presence, with an immediate focus on setting up, developing, and actively managing a professional presence on LinkedIn.
- Content Creation: Produce engaging digital content, including product videos and "how-to" videos for technical tools, for use across multiple digital platforms including the company website, YouTube, and LinkedIn. Digital
- Communication: Manage and develop content for corporate communications, including daily social media posting and engagement to build brand awareness.
- Newsletter Production: Transform flyers and corporate materials into professional newsletters using design software like Adobe InDesign and AI tools (e.g., Co-pilot) for enhanced efficiency.
- Marketing Materials: Assist with modifications and updates for the product catalog and other essential marketing documentation. Strategic Advising: Research, recommend, and advise leadership on the best AI tools and marketing strategies to achieve company goals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the website designer to ensure consistent brand messaging across all digital platforms.

Qualifications:
- Proven creative skills in video and graphic design; proficiency with Adobe InDesign and experience utilizing AI tools for content repurposing is highly desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A strong understanding of the Japanese automotive market and industry is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work independently and take full ownership of the marketing function in a hands-on, start-up environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage a consistent part-time schedule.
- Japanese language proficiency is a plus (ideal but not mandatory).
- Candidates comfortable using AI translation tools for basic translation, which will be double-checked by the manager, are encouraged to apply.
