Position Description
The Communication Specialist supports the Support Now Experience & Special Projects (ESP) team by producing clear, high-quality internal communications that advance department initiatives, culture priorities, and leadership objectives. This role partners closely with the leader of Experience & Special Projects team to translate strategy into audience ready messaging and polished deliverables.
The ideal candidate will possess a balanced blend of IQ and EQ, maintaining a professional and highly collaborative approach. As a subject matter expert in internal communications, this individual should be passionate about crafting compelling narratives and making complex information digestible. The ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously and a meticulous attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
This role can be performed remotely from anywhere in the United States.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Own the team's weekly newsletter send end-to-end including content intake, copyediting, designing in Mailchimp, acquiring approvals, and distributing.
- Co-own a monthly newsletter to our People Leader audience including designing in MailChimp, acquiring approvals, and distributing.
- Develop two monthly Staff features by working within existing templates, coordinating outreach, editing videos in Canva, designing accompanying graphics, acquiring approvals, and preparing final draft for publication.
- Planning and executing communication plans for ad hoc activities such as video announcements, initiatives, and events.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience leading internal communications in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills across multiple formats including newsletters, emails, scripts, and Slack/Teams posts.
- Proficiency in Mailchimp including campaign creation, audience management, and performance reporting.
- Proficiency in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite for graphic design and video editing.
- Familiarity with SharePoint site maintenance, Microsoft Suite, and Monday.com.
- Comfortable partnering with leaders in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to translate complex or technical information into concise messaging.
- Ability to ensure all content reflects Support Now's tone, voice, and client's brand identity standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting internal communications in a corporate contact center environment.
- Experience as an editor-in-chief

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $38,800.00 - $77,400.00.
