The Communications Specialist develops and executes communication strategies that strengthen the company’s brand, engage employees, and inform key stakeholders. The role combines strategic planning, content development, media relations, and internal communications, including creating and managing content across multiple channels and supporting internal and external initiatives. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, the Communications Specialist ensures consistent, accurate, and timely messaging aligned with the company’s goals, values, and strategic priorities while supporting business objectives and employee engagement.

Position offers a starting salary range of $86,000 - $110,000 USD Pay Offered Dependent On Knowledge, Skills, And experience

What You Drive At DTFS
- Collaborating with International Teams: Works closely with international teams across multiple regions, including headquarters in Germany, to coordinate communications activities, share best practices, and support consistent execution.
- Support for Communication Initiatives: Initiates and contributes to internal and external communications initiatives, ensuring content is tailored to regional audiences while aligned with the overall communications strategy.
- Feedback and Reporting: Gathers feedback and insights from regional team and provides regular updates to support continuous improvement of communications strategies and initiatives.
Content Creation and Channel Management (60%): - Develops, produces, and manages content across multiple channels to ensure clear, consistent, and engaging messaging aligned with company goals and values.
- Responsibilities include creating or overseeing the development of written, visual, audio, and video content for internal and external audiences like newsletter, intranet, social media etc.
- Partners closely with internal stakeholders to align communication strategies with business priorities.
- Works collaboratively with Marketing, IT, Finance & Controlling, Human Resources, Legal, Sales, Strategy, and Customer Service teams to ensure messaging consistency and effective execution across the organization.
Event Coordination and Collaboration (20%):
- Plans, coordinates, and supports internal and external events in close collaboration with internal teams and external partners including event messaging, scripts, run‑of‑show, and presentations etc.
Media Relations Support (10%):
- Assists with media relations activities by managing media inquiries, coordinating interviews, supporting press materials, and helping ensure accurate and positive representation of the company in external media.
Vendor and Agency Management (10%):
- Oversees relationships with external vendors and agencies, including graphic designers, videographers/producers, photographers, event coordinators, marketing material providers, and printers. Ensures quality, brand alignment, deadline adherence, and cost‑effective delivery of all externally produced materials.
Knowledge You Should Bring
- Bachelor degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the field or in a related field
- Strong business acumen, interpersonal, leadership and negotiations skills that support the ability to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Highly organized, creative, and self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment with demonstrated flexibility and organizational skills.
- Strong written, verbal and digital communication skills.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for communication, including LinkedIn, Staffbase and analytic tools.
- Exceptional ability to write and communicate clearly and concisely translating complex topics into compelling, digestible stories.
Exceptional Candidates Might Have
- Experience in financial services, captive finance, banking, or leasing organizations
- Proven experience supporting senior executives (e.g., leadership messaging, town halls, strategic announcements)
- Experience working in a global organization, collaborating across regions and functions
- Familiarity with internal communications platforms and analytics (e.g., Staffbase)
- Ability to translate financial or technical concepts into clear, engaging content
