If so, we are seeking a Marketing & Communications Coordinator to play a critical role in advancing the brand, programs and member experience of a leading association serving healthcare leaders and innovators. This role is ideal for a strong writer and marketer who is highly organized, detail-oriented and excited to own the day-to-day execution of marketing and communications across multiple channels.
What You Will Be Doing:
Content & Storytelling
- Write and publish timely, engaging content that tells the story of the organization, its members, programs, events and impact, including event recaps, articles, newsletters, website content and other marketing materials.
- Capture and translate key moments, insights and conversations from events and programs into compelling content for members and external audiences.
- Support the development and execution of content that highlights member achievements, thought leadership, organizational milestones and the broader healthcare ecosystem.
- Assist with the development of visual storytelling assets, including presentations, social graphics, event materials, videos and other branded collateral.
Social Media & Digital Marketing
- Own the day-to-day management and execution of the organization's social media presence across relevant platforms- specifically LinkedIn.
- Develop and maintain social media content calendars and create compelling, timely content that promotes our brand, programs, events, thought leadership and member engagement.
- Monitor social media performance and engagement, identifying opportunities to strengthen reach and effectiveness.
- Stay current on social media, digital marketing and content trends and recommend new approaches to engage key audiences.
- Help ensure a consistent brand voice and experience across all digital channels.
Website & Digital Experience
- Manage and maintain the organization's website, ensuring content, events, programs, news and other information remain accurate, current and engaging.
- Own ongoing updates to the website and event calendar and work with internal teams to identify opportunities to improve the user experience.
- Support the optimization and ongoing development of digital channels to make it easier for members and prospects to find information and engage with the organization.
Email Marketing & Campaign Execution
- Lead the execution of email marketing and communications campaigns, from building and scheduling emails to quality assurance and post-campaign reporting.
- Partner with internal teams to develop and execute promotional campaigns for events, programs, initiatives and other organizational priorities.
- Manage marketing workflows and timelines to ensure communications are accurate, on brand and delivered on schedule.
- Support audience segmentation and targeted communications to deliver relevant information and opportunities to the right audiences.
- Monitor campaign performance and use insights to inform future marketing efforts.
Event Marketing, Promotion & Onsite Support
- Support the development and execution of marketing and promotional plans for events, conferences, programs and other Council engagements.
- Coordinate promotional activities across email, social media, website and other marketing channels to drive awareness, engagement and registration.
- Write and develop event-related communications before, during and after programs, including promotional content, attendee communications, event recaps and internal talking points.
- Support the onsite marketing and brand experience at events, including signage, collateral, presentations, digital displays and other branded touchpoints.
- Work closely with event and programming teams to ensure the attendee experience is cohesive and that marketing and communications needs are anticipated and executed seamlessly.
- Provide onsite event support as needed, helping capture content, promote key moments and ensure the organization's brand is consistently represented.
- Ensure brand and marketing elements included in Healthcare Sessions Conference Sponsorships and executed, tracked, measured and compiled into post-event reports to be shared with sponsors.
- Communications resource for Healthcare Sessions Week- coordinate in collaboration with SVP Brand and Operations with media representatives, send pitches inviting attendance, create and provide a media kit in advance of the conference, serve as onsite resource for both media and the participants in the News Announcements segment.
Brand & Cross-Functional Support
- Help implement and maintain consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all organizational touchpoints.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across programming, membership, operations and leadership to support organizational priorities and promote key initiatives.
- Serve as a responsive marketing resource for internal teams, helping translate organizational needs into clear, effective communications and marketing materials.
- Assist with special projects, publications and other marketing initiatives as needed to support the organization's strategic goals.
- Support team members with projects and responsibilities that contribute to the successful execution of organizational priorities.
What You Need to Have:
- 2–4 years of experience in marketing, communications, content marketing, digital marketing, public relations or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations or a related field preferred.
- Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to create clear, compelling content for a variety of audiences and channels.
- Experience managing social media platforms and developing content that drives engagement.
- Experience executing email marketing campaigns and maintaining digital content.
- Experience managing and updating websites; familiarity with WordPress or similar content management systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with HubSpot or other marketing automation and CRM platforms is a plus.
- Experience with Canva; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Experience with LinkedIn.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- A self-starter mentality with a sense of urgency, strong follow-through and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team while also taking ownership of individual responsibilities.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and providing onsite support at events.
- A strong understanding of brand consistency and the importance of creating a seamless experience across communications and marketing channels.
- An interest in healthcare, business and leadership, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear and engaging content.

The successful candidate is someone who can move seamlessly between strategy and execution. You may be writing an event recap in the morning, scheduling an email campaign in the afternoon and supporting the brand experience onsite at an event the next day. You are organized enough to manage the details, creative enough to tell a compelling story and proactive enough to identify what needs to happen before being asked.
