Join a dynamic, collaborative team to support independent schools across New England
The Association of Independent Schools in New England (AISNE) seeks a new team member to serve as Membership & Marketing Associate. The Membership & Marketing Associate assists in all aspects of member communication, support, and engagement. The person in this position will be responsible for providing timely, clear, and welcoming customer service to our members.
This junior position is a strong fit for anyone in the early or beginning stages of a career in non-profit marketing and/or association management. Through liaising with our association’s members, you will support many of the programs and services of our organization.
The position reports directly to the Director of Marketing & Sponsorship and works collaboratively with a small team to deliver high-quality service to the AISNE membership.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a welcoming and supportive first point of contact for customer questions and inquiries
- Onboard new members and process membership renewals
- Participate in and support in-person and virtual events
- Maintain online membership directory
- Make updates to company website using WordPress
- Create email communications promoting new member recruitment, member engagement, and other company initiatives
- Create social media and newsletter content for a variety of channels
- Manage listserv membership
- Assist the Director of Marketing & Sponsorship in providing sponsor benefits and recognition
- Ensure the integrity of records in company HubSpot CRM
- Provide support for general administrative tasks
Requirements
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with members, fostering positive relationships
- Extraordinary organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize projects
- Strong aptitude for technology and systems
- Experience updating a website, ideally using the WordPress content management system
- Experience working with an email service provider (e.g. MailChimp)
- Familiarity with CRMs or association management systems (e.g. HubSpot)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google suite functions
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite preferred
- Driver’s license and car
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- This position must be home-based in New England. Daily work is remote.
- Salary range: $50-60K as commensurate with experience, plus competitive benefits.
