Job Description
Chubb is seeking a highly skilled Marketing Specialist to support the North America Financial Lines division. Our ideal candidate is equipped and excited to support a team as it develops integrated marketing communication programs that effectively drive business results.
This role will l support the management and implementation of integrated communication plans for internal and external audiences to ensure they are high-quality, business-driven, and effective. The ideal candidate will have experience in a wide range of marketing functions, including communications, advertising, branding, digital, and social media. The Marketing Specialist must be an organized multitasker, able to manage many diverse projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
This position reports to the Assistant Vice President of Marketing Communications for North America Financial Lines and will be based in our Philadelphia, PA office. It also requires 15-20% domestic travel.
The Marketing Specialist for North America Financial Lines will be responsible for:
- Supporting the North America Financial Lines Marketing team in executing annual marketing campaigns and budgets, ensuring alignment with business goals and brand strategy.
- Coordinating the integrated deployment of various marketing/communications initiatives, such as collateral, trade shows, events, email marketing, digital marketing, social media, and communications strategies.
- Assisting in delivering assets to various audiences through multiple internal and external communications channels (traditional and social media, website, e-marketing, company intranet, etc.).
- Providing communications support across various channels, including, but not limited to, executive presentations, executive social media, newsletters, and thought leadership articles.
- Managing the development and production of event marketing materials, including publications, product brochures, broker support materials, trade show collateral, etc., in compliance with the Chubb brand standards.
- Overseeing the business's social media activities and becoming the administrator for the business’s social media.
- Developing and authoring the internal newsletter for Financial Lines and ensuring its monthly publication. Working closely with the internal communications team to deliver regular news and publication updates on behalf of the business and maintain Financial Lines intranet page.
- Supporting the development of thought leadership assets to various audiences (brokers, clients, agents, etc.) through multiple communications channels (media, web, etc.).
- Conducting research and supporting major omnichannel marketing campaigns, such as competitive intelligence and analysis, and supporting outreach efforts to help amplify campaign reach.
- Proactively communicate project updates to team members and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective coordination across departments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required – Communications, Marketing, or related major preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a marketing or communications role, insurance industry or financial services experience preferred.
- Advertising/public relations/creative agency experience is a plus.
- Event experience, including the use of event management software and preparing event reports, is a plus.
- Must demonstrate the ability to use marketing communications tools such as Canva, PowerPoint, Sales Force Marketing Cloud, and Google Analytics.
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on establishing and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent collaboration skills.
- Ability to travel 15-20%
