Help Turn Information Into Clear Communication
We’re looking for a Communications Assistant to support day-to-day communication projects from our Charlotte office.
You’ll help organize information, prepare written materials, coordinate content, and support communications across different teams. The role combines writing, organization, research, and project support, making it a good fit for someone who enjoys working with information and communicating with different audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with preparing internal communications, announcements, presentations, and written materials
- Draft, edit, and proofread content for accuracy and consistency
- Support email, newsletter, website, and social media communications
- Research customers, audiences, industry topics, and relevant market information
- Maintain communication calendars, content schedules, and project trackers
- Coordinate information and materials with internal teams
- Support communications for meetings, events, and promotional initiatives
- Organize communication materials, contact lists, and digital files
- Track deadlines and follow up on outstanding content and requests
- Assist with preparing communication reports and activity updates
- Help ensure messaging remains clear and consistent across different materials
- Support wider communications projects and administrative requirements
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in communications, marketing, public relations, content, journalism, administration, or a related field is preferred.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good organization and time-management skills
- Confidence working with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar tools
- The ability to adapt written information for different audiences
- Comfortable managing multiple assignments and deadlines
- A professional and collaborative approach
