Our marketing team moves fast, thinks big, and produces work that reaches audiences across the country and globe—we’re not your typical non-profit marketing team.
Position Overview
We’re looking for a Graphic Design Intern who can jump in, contribute immediately, and keep up.
This role is for someone who is:
- Creative and detail-obsessed
- Comfortable working on quick-turn projects
- Able to hit deadlines without constant hand-holding
- Excited to be part of a team that actually ships work (a lot of it)
What You’ll Do
Design high-quality marketing assets:
- Social media graphics
- Email and newsletter visuals
- Event signage and collateral
- Digital ads and web graphics
- Print handouts
- Turn around projects quickly while maintaining accuracy and polish
- Ensure all designs align with brand standards (Automation Alley + program brands)
- Juggle multiple projects and shifting priorities
- Proof your work—spelling, grammar, and punctuation matter here
- Collaborate with a team that values speed, quality, and getting things done
What We’re Looking For
- Pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Canva (non-negotiable)
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop a plus)
- Sharp eye for detail and clean, professional design
- Ability to work quickly and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality
- Strong understanding of branding and visual consistency
- Solid written communication skills
Bonus Points If You…
- Are a true digital native who lives and breathes content
- Have experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, image generators, design tools, etc.) to work smarter and faster
- Keep up with design trends, social content, and what actually performs

Compensation
$20/hour, up to 20 hours per week for approximately 3 months
