About The Opportunity
We are looking for a dynamic, outgoing, and creative Social Media Assistant to join our team and support our content efforts. This is a hands-on, in-person role where you will work directly under Krystal's leadership to help capture the energy of our events and translate it into compelling digital stories.
If you are early in your career, have a background in event planning, or simply have a natural talent for foreseeing how a room will unfold and want to learn how to curate a narrative from it, this role is a great stepping stone. We want someone who walks into a party ready to execute a shot list and eager to learn the ropes of professional content creation.
Note: This position begins as a paid trial opportunity covering our upcoming events. The goal is to see if we are the right fit for each other before committing to a long-term role. Strong performers will transition directly into a permanent support position on the team.
What You Will Do
As our Social Media Assistant, you will support the full content lifecycle under Krystal's guidance. You will attend our parties and activations in person, which means you need to be comfortable walking up to strangers, getting them talking, and capturing genuine moments on camera. You will assist with post-production editing using Adobe Premiere (or a comparable professional editing ecosystem), ensuring every piece of content is polished before review.
Beyond video, you will help maintain our social media channels day-to-day — keeping the lanes organized, scheduling posts, and assisting with community engagement. You will also collaborate closely with Krystal on her newsletter, contributing writing and scripting support to help bring her vision to life.
The storytelling piece is critical, and you will learn how to master it. We need someone who can follow direction, anticipate needs, and help foresee the story before it happens, assisting in building a narrative arc around an event.
